The 2012 Auto Expo has introduced the various innovative concepts and a future glance of the Indian automotive industry. The entire year Multi Utility Vehicle (MPV) and SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) seem to remain in the focus, which are massively appreciated by the visitors.

The all new 2012 Mahindra Xylo MPV is the enhanced version of company’s most popular ‘Mahindra Xylo’, which is expected to hit the Indian marketplace soon in the upcoming months. However, company didn’t keep it in the showcase list of the Auto Expo, but 2012 Mahindra Xylo MPV is expected to launch before the brand new Toyota Innova hits the market.

Well again Mahindra had come up with its new Mahindra Xylo Mini which was release in Auto Expo 2012. Its mileage will be around 14kmpl and price will be around Rs6lakhs.
The B+ segment Mahindra Xylo mini will be powered by 1.5 liter turbocharged CRDi engine inspired from Mahindra 2.2 Liter M-Hawk CRDI diesel engine range ensuring free flow of oil and excellent on-road performance. The engine will be available with a 5 Speed Manual Transmission gearbox but information regarding the Mahindra Xylo Mini variants is still under the wrap.

The Mahindra Xylo has been the second largest selling MPVs in India for a long time now, second only to the best selling Toyota Innova MPV. The facelifted Innova was launched at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo even as Mahindra chose to play the cards close to its chest by not revealing any new Mahindra product or facelift at the exposition.
