GHAZIABAD: Rajesh Talwar, father of murdered teenager Aarushi Talwar, was on Tuesday attacked outside a special CBI court in Ghaziabad after he filed a protest petition in the case.
Dr Rajesh Talwar was hit with a sharp edged weapon at the court by an unidentified person. The person has been taken into custody at the court police lock-up.
Rajesh Talwar was immediately rushed to a hospital. He could be seen holding his head in pain as blood flowed out.
Earlier in the morning, Rajesh Talwar moved the court with a 60 page protest petition seeking rejection of closure report filed by the CBI in Aarushi case.
Talwars claimed that the CBI has given incorrect conclusion. The hearing was adjourned till 12 pm.
