Having made the nation laugh with its successful season of Comedy Circus, Sony Entertainment Television launches a fun-filled show, Champion Chaalbaaz No 1, starting Saturday, December 22, at 10 p.m.
Champion Chaalbaaz No 1 is a reality-based comedy show that brings together 33 contestants who possess that masti ki maha khujli and put their mischievous best foot forward in pulling off some of the most audacious pranks ever. Theses contestants will be judged by a live studio audience and, of course, Cyrus and Saajid, who will judge and critique them on their skill and finally crown India's biggest Champion Chaalbaaz No. 1.
Each episode will showcase three pranksters who will pull off an individual prank. Then they will get together to pull off a combined prank. Every episode will also feature a celebrity prank. While the pranks may seem mean, it's all in good humour and without malice, making for a great laugh.
Champion Chaalbaaz No 1 is the Indian version of the international format Prankstar from Endemol India. This format show is simultaneously launched for the first time in India and the US. SET is proud to continue its partnership with Endemol in providing break-through formats like this, having successfully launched shows like Bigg Boss and Fear Factor in the past.
SET, through its unique marketing and promotional efforts with its partners RED FM and IBN 7, promises to take this popular show across the nation.
