Aijaaz Aslam goes back to Mughal Empire

Postby fiza on Wed Oct 06, 2010 10:11 am

In the wedding season, where parents are busy tying their children’s knots and spending lavishly on food, jewelry and dress, fashion designers are busy creating and designing wedding trousseau.

Every year the wedding trends keep changing and this year, settle in for the ride back to Mughal traditions. Inspired by Mughal era, fashion designer Aijaaz Aslam has designed grand looks of detailed intricate embroidery for his Royal Collection.

The colors used for the Shervanis are black and beige combined with white and off-white undertones. The turbans too are ravishingly embellished this time plus matching Salim Shahi’s are a must to complete the look.
