It has now turned out that Tamil superstar Rajinikanth decided to get medical treatment at a top hospital in Singapore on the advice of Amitabh Bachchan.
The friendship between Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth goes back a long way, back to the days when they worked together in films like Andha Kanoon and Hum. So when Rajinikanth fell ill recently and failed to recover fully despite being treated at two different hospitals in Chennai, it was his friend Amitabh’s wise counsel the ailing star chose to heed.
Big B has confirmed that he’s been in touch with Rajinikanth and his family throughout the superstar’s poor health lately. They (Rajini’s family) have been discussing with Mr. Bachchan various options regarding the best hospitals to get Rajinikanth treated.
Bachchan suggested the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore and his suggestion was duly acted upon. Rajini and his wife and two daughters flew to Singapore and the mega star is presently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
