Argentine Hockey team may visit Pakistan in March

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Argentine to Pakistan Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia on Thursday said that his country's hockey team will visit Pakistan in March 2012.

He expressed these views while talking to APP here after the final match of Pakistan Premier Soccer League, held at Jinnah Stadium here at Pakistan Sports Complex.

Expressing confidence over the security arrangements in Pakistan the Ambassador said, "I move freely in Pakistan and see no security threat, adding that his discussion with Pakistani officials (which he didn't disclosed) regarding visit of Argentinean Hockey
team were fruitful.

The Ambassador further stated that Pakistani peoples are very talented and, " we are ready to provide training and coaching facilities to Pakistani players in football".

Rodolfo J added that Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) organized the Premier Soccer League Championship successfully and congratulated PFF chief, Fasial Saleh Hayat, saying that the PFF has performed an excellent job for the promotion of football in the country.

"The media should perform responsibilities through motivating people and bringing them to the fields of sports," he concluded.(APP)
