According to sources, Shahid Kapoor was to accompany Ranbir but now Atif has gotten the part, without the reasons for the change being explained. Rishi Kapoor, who is the 70% producer of Ranbir’s first world tour said, “Unfortunately Shahid Kapoor can’t accompany us. We’ve got Atif Aslam instead. He’s a huge draw among Asians abroad. The show will be youth-oriented.”
Other artists on this tour include Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu and Malaika Arora Khan will be part of the tour where as a fifth girl is yet to be finalized. Apparently even Deepika Padukone had been interested for this tour but after the Koffee with Karan fiasco, she was deliberately left out from the team of gorgeous Bollywood beauties.
