Concept - Avghachi Sansar is the story of a young girl - Asavari, who is the eldest daughter of Principle Mohite; Mohite Sir is a well known academician in a small town of Akola, who has devoted his entire life in teaching in a school. However, Mohite sir has never managed to build a fortune for himself or his family since he had been investing his earnings for the betterment of the school where now he has been working as a Principal.
Asavari too was brought up based on Mohite sir's values and principles. She grows up to become a self reliant, educated woman of substance, she pursues teaching in a junior college of the neighboring town. She resents marrying for her love for higher education with the consent of her father. Hence she crosses the average age of marriage for a young girl in a small town. Asavari, being a humble, friendly and mature girl was loved & respected by one and all in her town. She would deny the marriage proposals coming her way for want of stronger financial situation of the family.
Destiny has instored a different game for her. Asavari accidently meets Harashavardhan, a very rich & handsome businessman from a neighboring town. Harshavardhan bails out Asavari's father from an extremely critical financial condition. Asavari's entire family is deeply indebted to Harshavardhan for his kindness.
Harshavardhan falls madly in love with Asavari and marries her. She admires him for his gentle & noble attitude towards herself and her family. The Mohites are overjoyed to marry the eldest daughter of their family to Harshavardhan.
A beautiful phase of life now begins for Asavari. She enjoys her newly married life and experiences happiness like never before. However, life soon changes for her as she discovers the true nature of Harshavardhan. Harshavardhan is completely obsessed with Asavari and loves to control everything related to his life. His possessiveness is more of a handicap to their relationship than love. Asavari is being tortured by his dominating and chauvinistic nature to such an extent that she is being restricted to her house and not allowed to socialize with people around.
Asavari continues to bear with these odds in her life hoping that her husband would change to a better person at some point in time. However, things only get from bad to worse for her and she finally decides to retaliate.
Now begin the struggles in Asavari's life to regain her lost freedom and self esteem.
