Real emo songs and bands.

1. At the Drive-In - "Pattern Against User"
2. The Get Up Kids - "Overdue"
3. Jawbreaker - "Boxcar" (interchangeable between emo/punk)
4. Circle Takes the Square - "Eleven Owls Have Eyes" (interchangeable between emo/screamo)
5. Cap'N Jazz - "Scary Kids Scaring Kids" (Where the band Scary Kids Scaring Kids came from)

*But yeah, Jawbreaker and Circle Takes the Square are interchangeable between those genres. A lot of the early real post hardcore, screamo, emo, punk bands were.

And in case anyone was wondering... I'm not emo. Don't be fooled by my avatar. In fact, I'm a metalhead. Go figure...

I just know a lot of music and like a lot of music and know what bands fit in what genres. And these are real, true emo bands/songs.

I don't think it matters, and you bring up a good point about it being used against you. (I'm 20, and that almost always works against me)

So from now on I just won't reveal it unless for some reason I absolutely have to. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
