A film from Aamir Khan’s production house always has some social relevance and also drives home a point. But Delhi Belly would be shockingly different.
“Aamir Khan Productions is known for its inspiring, clean, family entertainment. All that is about to change! Delhi Belly has the potential of, in a single stroke, destroying all the goodwill we have built in the last ten years,” the 45-year-old actor wrote on his blog.
The movie stars Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunaal Roy Kapoor as three bachelor Delhiites. Imran plays a spoilt character - he drinks, smokes, is given to substance abuse, he swears and watches a lot of porn.
The film is directed by Abhinay Deo and has music by Ram Sampath.
“Abhinay Deo, very ably leading a super cast and crew has delivered pretty much what Kiran and I were laughing our heads off about. I'd like to make a special mention of Ram who has in my opinion... with path breaking and inspired work... created an album which I feel people will want to own,” Aamir added.
‘Delhi Belly’ is set to release on July 1.
