An ex-Navy seal (Mehcad Brooks), his girlfriend (Serinda Swan) and their friends start out on a road excursion to New Orleans. The group decides to stop at a pavement expediency store owned by Chopper (Sid Haig), who tells them the fiction of Lockjaw, a legendary god-like mortal who is half-man, half-alligator.
The fable has it that a congenital local man by the name of Grimley (Daniel Bernhardt) lost his family to a horrible white alligator, which then throng him to insanity and some believe he was distorted into that very creature that now haunts the lowest point of the swamps. Their inquisitiveness fatigued; the group decides to participate along with the local traveler ambush and voyage deep into the wasteland to find the old ramshackle compartment which is supposed to be the birthplace of the creature.
As they set-up camp for the night, their trust is put to the test when Lockjaw turns out to be more than just a saga and they appreciate the locals are hiding a shocking secret that jeopardizes them all.
