Except for Varun Sandesh's lively performance, the clichéd love story has nothing much to offer. Given that, from the word go Varun's tricks and antics do leave the audience in splits, however, the film's hackeneyed plot of the transformation of a reckless lad into a responsible guy after falling in love has been done to death in Tollywood.

Review this movie
If director Sankar believed that he could make a winner out of a wafer-thin plot by packing his screenplay with loads of fun moments then he is grossly mistaken.
The director keeps introducing comedians one after the other instead of showcasing the anguish of separated young lovers. It was supposed to be a romantic comedy but humour takes centre-stage to leave audience a tad disappointed. For any teenage romance, lilting music is the key, but this one falls short due to just passable numbers.
The film starts with Varun conning young lovers and extracting money for his expenses. He lives with brother (Bharat Reddy) and sister-in-law (Anu Hasaan). He falls in love with a pretty stranger (Vimala Raman) but unknowingly gets into pangas with her kin. Nevertheless, he gradually wins her confidence and just as he is about to propose to her, he is shocked to discover that she is about to get engaged to his friend. So the envious lad, resolves to... To know what happens next, check it out in a theatre.
After putting in restrained performances in Happy Days and Kotha Bangaru Lokam, Varun Sandesh goes overboard this time but does have his share of moments. Vimala Raman's efforts to make her role convincing go in vain but the band of comedians Ali, Venu Madhav and Ram Prabha do evoke some laughter.
All said and done, director Sankar could have extracted good compositions from Manisharma and better cinematography from Venugopalan.
