She had done her first performance on stage when she was only two years old. She is an ardent fan of Madhuri Dixit for many years now & performed on Madhuri numbers many times.Since her childhood, she used to watch Madhuri Starrer films, & tried to mimic her.
Madhuri Dixit influenced Geeta Basra’s talent as an actress & dancer. Geeta Basra was dying to play the role in Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon but could not make her dream come true since she was still at Portsmouth, UK.
Bollywood is Geeta Basra’s dream ever since she started to dream. She always dreamt of becoming a glittering star like Madhuri Dixit in the skies of Bollywood.
Geeta Basra moved to Mumbai when she was seventeen and joined the acting school as any other Bollywood aspirant.
She joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting school, where the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan were trained.
Upon completion of the training she hired a manager for herself and left for London, UK. She has done two known bollywood movies both with Emran Hashmi.
