She is a student in Podar Internation School. Hansika is currently enrolled in the 12th Grade in the A levels. Hansika mainly speaks in, English, Hindi & Broken Tulu.
Hansika started off her movie career as a child artiste. Today she is a versatile actress a well-known model and a famous television star. She has appeared in many TV serials as a child artiste & also appeared as such in several TV commercials.
Her mom's client Juhi Chawla noticed Hansika & recommended that she act in movies. She was accordingly signed by for Yahoo with herself & Govinda. Unfortunately this movie was shelved. Her next biggest offer was from Rakesh Roshan for acting in the movie Koi mil gaya with Hrithik Roshan & Preity Zinta.
She made her debut in the movie Desamuduru a telugu movie & was paid 50 Lakhs Rupees for that. She is playing the leading lady in the movie Aap Ka Surroor. She was recently nominated for the prestigious Filmfare Award for the best debut Female. She is receiving many offers from Bollywood Hindi Movies & is now among the Top Five Heroines in the industry.
