Rakhi’s quite a magnetic personality, especially when it comes to controversies. This time it’s about a pistol found in possession of two criminals apprehended in the Pratapgarh district of UP. Keshav Pandey and Chandrakant Mishra, who were arrested by the Pratapgarh police on charges of looting a local businessman, say the 8 mm caliber gun belongs to Rakhi Sawant! Here’s gleaning fact from fiction:

“Rakhi toh khud hi ek chalti firti pistol hai,” laughs Manoj as he goes on to say, “This is all bull sh**!!! Jisko dekho Rakhi ka naam le leta hai. This time it’s the criminals who are taking her name. I mean, this is ridiculous. Rakhi has no arms registered in her name. The criminals are just trying to fool the police by claiming the pistol is hers. As far as investigations are concerned, I don’t think it makes any sense as to why the poor girl shoulbe be questioned for such a baseless news piece!”

“It is still not clear whether the pistol belongs to Rakhi Sawant or Rakhi Gulzar. Actually the convicts took both the names but somehow Rakhi Sawant’s name got highlighted. We have forwarded the investigation request to the Mumbai police and are now waiting for their report.”

People think that Rakhi kabhi nahi badlegi but please, main badal gayi hoon. I don’t want any controversies around me. I want a peaceful life.

My brother Rakesh got a call from the Pratapgarh police narrating the whole incident. It is funny! Rakhi and pistol? Not possible. I know how to take care of myself. And when people run away from me wherever I go, why do I need a pistol to protect myself? I have never and will never apply for a license of arms. Also, I will not be going for any enquiry to the Mumbai Police. If they want to know anything, they are most welcome to my house. But I don’t want this to be made a trend. Kal ko jisko dekho wo mera naam lega aur main police station mein baithi hongi. I am not in a mood to cooperate with the police if they question me. Why should I?”
