Item girl Liza Malik poses Topless with a Cricket Ball

Postby harrysmith on Thu May 26, 2011 6:09 am

ImageAfter creating sensation of sorts with her claim that she got a call to fix IPL matches, item girl Liza Malik again hogs the limelight with her topless photo for PETA.

Liza became popular when her album ‘Simply Liza’, featuring singer Mika Singh, released. Till now, she was seen enjoying IPL and post-match parties but now it seems she has taken cricket ball too seriously. Liza, who proposed to a cricket player on the reality show Dancing Queen, was moved to tears when she learnt that animals are slaughtered for their skin and have to go through extreme pains for leather used in making a cricket ball.

So, she happily volunteered to pose for PETA’s ad calling for the use of high-performance synthetic cricket balls instead of a leather one.

“Although millions of fans across the globe are currently enjoying the IPL, cricket is anything but fun for the animals whose skins are used to make balls for the sport, and leather production wreaks havoc on the environment,” says Malik in her statement.
