Konkona Sen Sharma delivered a baby boy on March 15. The actress and husband Ranvir Shorey have named their newborn Haroon. In the latest issue of OK! India, Koko talks about pregnancy and motherhood. Extracts from the cover story: “The pregnancy has meant a complete change in lifestyle. I used to be a smoker, overnight I couldn’t smoke or drink at all.”
“He (hubby Ranvir Shorey) is very good with kids, thank God, because I am really awkward around children.
We were both keen on having a baby soon though — because you know they say you should have your kids before a certain age. We’ve been saying, “Maybe next year,” for some time and on my last birthday, mom said, “Okay, you want to freeze your eggs now?!” This has happened at the right age and the right time for us and we couldn’t be happier.”
