Review this movie
For those who admired `Mungaru Male' and `Gaalipata', the latest venture by director Yogaraj Bhat is not very impressive. The director has selected a romantic story that takes place in a rehabilitation centre for mentally retarded persons. The lively first half has the Yogaraj Bhat touch with excellent narration and catchy dialogues. But the snail-paced second half tests your patience with poor narration and mediocre sequences. It looks like the director hasn't recovered from the heady success of his previous two movies and misses Ganesh and the rain very much.
Manu (Diganth), a happy-go-lucky youth, enters the centre after a goof-up. But he refuses to leave it as he falls in love with Devika (Aindritha Ray), who is being treated for dementia. The story takes several turns and ends on a happy note.
Diganth fails to carry the story forward with his silly mannerisms and poor dialogue delivery. Aindritha's role is just limited to fluttering her eyes. Sathya Hegde's camerawork is poor. Only Mano Murthy's melodious tunes save the day.
