It all started with fever that went on for almost a week. After which I went for a check up, and was immediately rushed to the hospital. The doctor suggested an immediate operation, because meri lungs main paani bhar gaya tha. Now, after the operation, I am feeling better. I’m back home and have been advised complete bed rest,” said the Delhi-based artist.

Indian television’s first soap opera, Hum Log which was aired in 1984 on Doordarshan is coming back again on the national channel in a brand new avatar. The serial will be aired from August with a new title Hum. When we asked Abhinav about his opinion about the new serial, he said, “I haven’t heard of this so far. But if it is going to be made on the lines of Hum Log, it will be worth watching.” Talking about his experience of being a part of the cult serial, he said, “Hum Log was a milestone in the lives of each and every character associated with the show. For me, it was a memorable experience. I don’t think the audiences will ever forget the characters of Hum Log.”
