No lip-locking between Shruti and Emraan

Her character in Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji

My character is a very unapologetic, modern girl. Though she is not much like me, she is go-getter, and so am I. She is philosophical in her own way, which I am not. But she is really mean, which I am not.

Working with Madhur Bhandarkar

When I got a call from him, I didn’t know what my role was, but I know him and that he makes good cinema. I wanted to be part of the film, and I am thankful to him that he selected me for the role. It was really nice working with him, especially when he was trying something different from what he usually does.

Doing a multi-starrer, again.

It was great because I got to know so many people. I have always been a fan of Ajay Devgn, and though I don’t have many scenes with him, I made sure that I met him a few times during shooting.

Sharing the screen with Emraan Hashmi

I believe he is a great actor, as I have watched his films. I believe that he really gets into the character. Apart from that, kissing is not the only thing which Emraan can do, and there is no kissing between us in the film.

The pressures of being a "star kid"

I feel allergic when I hear "star kid". I don’t understand why there are so many expectations from a star kid. Of course, many star kids are doing well, but sometimes, star kids are not given enough space to prove themselves.
