CARDIFF: Pakistan's scandal-scarred tour of Britain suffered a fresh on-field low on Tuesday as England dismissed them for their worst ever Twenty20 international total of 89 all out.

Pakistan's previous lowest score in 40 matches at this level was the 125 for nine they made in 20 overs against Australia at Melbourne in February.

England, the World Twenty20 champions, had held Pakistan to 126 for four on the way to a five-wicket win in the first of this two-match series on Sunday.

But they did even better on Tuesday with seamer Tim Bresnan taking three wickets for 10 runs in 3.4 overs as Pakistan's innings concluded with eight balls of their 20 overs still left.

Umar Akmal top scored with 17 for the 2009 World Twenty20 champions.

Pakistan, after captain Shahid Afridi won the toss, collapsed to 22 for four off five overs -- after taking 11 off the first from Ryan Sidebottom.

Bresnan started the slump with Kamran Akmal, for the second match in a row, top-edging a pull which was well caught by Graeme Swann.

Mohammad Yousuf, already dropped once, fell for two when he hooked Bresnan to Ravi Bopara at deep square leg as he too was dismissed in similar fashion to the way in which he was out on Sunday.

Afridi has a reputation as a big-hitting batsman but he was out fourth ball when trying to carve Stuart Broad and was caught by Eoin Morgan.

Umar Akmal gave Pakistan fans in a meagre crowd of just a few thousand something to cheer with a straight six against off-spinner Swann.

And he repeated the dose in Swann's next over.

However, Umar Akmal was bowled the following ball by a slower, wider delivery that turned back to hit the stumps, as he tried to smash Swann.

The tourists were now 44 for five in the 11th over and there was no way back from there to batting respectability.

Pakistan's tour has been overshadowed by the 'spot-fixing' scandal that has seen Test captain Salman Butt and bowlers Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Asif all suspended by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after allegedly conspiring to deliberately bowl no-balls during last month's fourth Test at Lord's.
