Good friends and good cheer, that’s what this bash hosted by Sheeba and Akashdeep was all about.

Because not only did the gracious hosts throw this party in honour of their friend Pankaj Udhas and the ghazal concert he organises every year, it was also a farewell party for Dr Shashi Goel who had flown down from New York, as well as a birthday celebration for Hanifbhai from London. A three in one affair! Sheeba and Akashdeep’s residence at Lokhandwala was soon buzzing with greetings as the guests arrived one by one.

Seen partying to their hearts’ content were Talat Aziz, Aly and Yasmin Morani, Sunil and Krishika Lulla, Ramesh and Kirron Sippy, Rohit and Manasi Roy and others. Deepshikha was spotted mingling with her friends. Sheeba’s kids Hriday and Bhavishya too joined in the fun, as they turned mini-hosts, entertaining the kids in their room! The guests enjoyed the sumptous Indian and Korean food while the upbeat music kept everyone in high spirits.

Udhas rose to fame for singing in the film Naam in which his song Chitthi Aayee Hai became an instant hit. Pankaj Udhas has a huge list of songs in which some are Movies Songs, Movies Ghazals and some albums which are still popular into the Indian people. Jagit Sing and Roop Kumar Rathod are also very popular like Pankaj Udas with their very great Ghazals.
