The story is based on the life of simple girl name Kangana, who belongs to a traditional Bengali family. Kangana is an exceptionally beautiful girl who knows that she can attract any man, but she still hopes for a life partner who will admire and respect her for what she is and not her beauty. But her beauty becomes a curse for her, which changes her life forever!

On the other hand, Kangana's own loved-ones (her sister Roktima and mother Sushmita) try to destroy every happiness that enters in Kangana's life. As the story steps further, Kangana's childhood sweetheart, Priyam comes back from America and the love story of Kangana and Priyam begins. As Priyam enters in Kangana's life, she falls-in love with him because he had all the qulaities that she was looking for in her 'prince-charming'. And very soon, she gets married to Priyam, starting a new chapter in her life. But, life is not straight-forward for Kangana as she was expecting it to be because as few weeks passes by the problems starts arising in her life because of her beauty. Priyam cannot stand that his wife is far more talented and in-demand than him, and with every passing day, his insecurities about Kangana keeps growing. He even accuses Kangana of having an affair with his own best friend Nivaan. And out of his lowliness complex, he starts keeping an eye on her to know that what Kangana does and whom she meets.

Priyam's suspects grow so much that he starts raising his hand on Kangana. Not only that, he even gives her a scar of her life on her face, so she would look like a normal person. The reality is that Kangana's very own beauty have become a curse for her, and the dilemma is that will she ever be able to get over with her trials and tribulations or will she has to suffer for the rest of her life because of her 'beauty'.
