NEW DELHI: Amid speculation that BJP chief Rajnath Singh may be replaced before his term gets over in December, the party is still considering

when exactly to make the changes. There is a possibility that Singh may complete his tenure but the process of arriving at a choice about his successor may happen sooner.

With senior leader L K Advani "tasked" with helping bring about a consensus on the next party president, Singh's views are bound to be factored in as well.

Senior party leaders have agreed to move ahead with regular business even as the process of consultations is expected to get underway, the deadline for which has not been fixed.
