South superstar Rajinikanth is out of the St. Isabel Hospital after being addmitted for nearly a week now. News has it that the superstar, headed straight to the nearby temple, to offer prayers for good health.

The Rana star visited the Kalikambal Temple in Chennai on Tuesday morning to pray for speedy recovery. Rajini reportedly visits this temple regularly. He also visited the Pamban Swamigal Ashram to meditate for an hour.

A source said, “Rajinikanth took permission to visit the temple and ashram. After the jaunt, the superstar returned to the hospital where he is still under medical observation.”

The 60-year-old star was rushed to the hospital after he complained of breathlessness. The doctors are observing Rajinikanth’s recovery and will discharge him only when they are confident that he can return to work.
