And what could Ranbir Kapoor do about these awry comments which were coming from his ex. The boy took it all maturely with a grin and grimace. But things were a bit awkward for this young Kapoor after the Koffee With Karan episode where Deepika came along with Sonam Kapoor and targeted Ranbir on national TV.
Now, in an interview to the magazine GQ, Ranbir lets his heart do the talking and expresses his concern over his image, fondness for Deepika, and shock over Sonam’s stark remarks at Koffee With Karan.
Ranbir says about Deepika, “With Deepika it was just kind of strange, because after she gave certain interviews post our break-up or that episode on Koffee With Karan, it got really awkward. Deepika must be having some angst against me, which she probably took out through this interview. But I still respect her, I still like her, I still feel she's a really nice girl.”
Ranbir seems to be at ease with Deepika, but when it comes to Sonam, he isn’t that pleased with her after that episode. Ranbir says, “I really have nothing to say about because she was just my co-star and I think she said a few things which she really didn’t need to.”
But there is one thing about which Ranbir is pretty sure -- he is just 28 and is fairly successful, enjoying his job -- yes, he’s “attracted” to women.
