The film starred Hollywood stars Steve Martin and Michael Caine who play two thugs in the movie who make an attempt to work together which fails miserably.
However a spokesperson from David Dhawan’s camp has rubbished the rumors but confirmed that the film is about two thugs, played by Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt.

“Yes, the film is based on two conmen but the story is our own brainchild. It has no relevance to the Hollywood film 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' that it is being compared with and it is baseless to relate the two movies. This is not the first time that a movie is based on two thieves!” the source close to the film clarified.
