The truck that includes relief goods such as, mineral water, packaged milk, pulses and pickles is her second installment of relief goods sent through Express Helpline Trust to the affected areas of Kot Addu. Her first truck was sent to Rahim Yar Khan.
“As a person and as an actor, I feel that it is my social responsibility to help these people from my own money instead of requesting aid from others” she said.
In addition to that, Resham is also planning to send an Eidi truck on Eid, for which other actors have also donated. Ahsan Khan has given Rs.100, 000 and Deedar has donated Rs.60, 000.
The actress has encouraged other people to donate as much as they can for the flood waves have washed away everything including, their homes, crops and livestock and they are in dire need of food and clean water. This is the time when we all need to come together to show solidarity with our brethren.
