Salman and some magic

Postby nahia on Sat Jan 23, 2010 3:07 pm

Superstar Salman Khan knows exactly how to win hearts. The actor picked up a brush, and impressed kids at the D Y Patil International School with an impromptu painting.

He was present at the annual day presentation, ‘Artracadabra’ that was a fusion of symphony, images, visual arts and mesmerising performances by the students. And the actor did his best to raise their spirit. Salman proved to be a complete entertainer once again as he danced and sang with the kids. Not just that, he even gave them some tips to tackle exams, teachers, school and life at large. Dr Ajeenkya Patil, Chairman, D Y Patil Group, was present along with wife Pooja and daughters Ish and Sai. The Salman magic was there for everyone to see. The highlight was an impromptu sketch of Jesus Christ by Salman, which received a huge applause. Salman’s sister Alvira Agnihotri had accompanied the actor to the event.

‘Artracadabra’ is a culmination of student efforts and a month long collaboration with experts like Marc Robinson in diverse art disciplines. Charan Sharma and Vinod Sharma thoroughly enjoyed viewing the art on display. Madhusudan Kumar loved the insightful graffiti on art. Prithvi Soni made it a point to attend this special occasion. Ananya Banerjee was also spotted cheering the kids. Viren Shah spent a lot of time going through the various works of the kids.
