Well, its been almost five years now, that Salman Khan was left out due to Akshay Kumar, thus delaying the shoot for Kick…. Now, we hear that Sajid Nadiadwala will pay an additional of 5 crore to stop Sallu from walking out of the flick.
Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ stars Salman and Sonakshi in the lead. The film was suppossed to go on the floors this September.
A source revealed, Salman was unhappy about the way the filmmaker had treated him over the last five years.
Nadiadwala had been casting Akshay Kumar in all his big budget films and Khan had never been approached for a film till he made a comeback with Wanted.
Salman wanted the producer to pay for his neglect. “Salman is one guy who expects total loyalty,” added the source.
Salman and Nadiadwala go back a long way. They hit it off with Jeet in 1996, followed by a superhit Judwaa (1997). The association continued with Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000) and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004).
The two had a rough relationship during their last film Jaan-E-Mann in 2006. They later patched up in 2009 for a film to be directed by David Dhawan which for some reason, never happened.
Nadiadwala, when contacted, replied laughing, “Ha ha ha. Salman never discusses money with me”
