She believes Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji will showcase her more than her debut film, ““Rocket Singh was a dream debut for me but I was very young then. Though it wasn’tthe ideal role to debut with, I think it did quite well. And in Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji you will see more of me,” she says.

She is happy that she became a part of the industry with her own merits, “ Who doesn’t want to be a part of Bollywood?" she jokes, adding, "I never took it seriously though acting is my passion as I belong to a theatre family. I have grown up in the same circuit but I had never planned to become a Bollywood actress as I don’t even belong to a film family. I come from a hardcore theatre background andthough my parents have friends in the industry, I didn’t bag a role through their recommendations."
She recalls,"In fact, when I went for my first audition, I didn’t even write mysurname on the list. Within a year, I was endorsing a lot of brands and when Ilook back I am happy that I achieved it all on my merit."
So which rolewould be her ideal role? “Being an actress I would like to try every kind ofrole because someone is called an actor when they do everything perfectly. Iwant to do commercial films, comedy films, romantic films and even if Vishal Bharadwaj offers me a role I would do it,” says Shazahn.
But no matter how sought-after an actress she becomes, she will never leave theatre. She says,"Theatre is my passion and there is a different kind of pleasure in workingin a play and most of the best actors come from theatre. I will never leave the stage."
