However, just as she returned to India, Sonam Kapoor made sure that the Indian media does not have a gala time. She was not amused by the fact that her dresses, which created a lot of buzz at the festival, were not much appreciated by the critics here in India.
The Kapoor daughter lashed out at the media and said that it is nothing but ‘crab mentality’. She feels that instead of being proud about the fact that Bollywood is making a mark at the international level, the critics were busy writing her off. Whereas according to Sonam, everybody admired her dresses back there in French Riviera and she even featured on the cover of an important women’s magazine.
An interesting piece of information is that Sonam Kapoor could not watch any film at Cannes!! She wanted to watch Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris, but could not make it! Not watching a film at a film festival sounds a bit strange, doesn’t it?? Sonam was just so busy with the public appearances and giving the photogs all the looks that she just couldn't make it to a movie..
