“The film has crossed its budget than the expected line and Ekta known to make small budget films has put this film on hold”, said an insider from Bollywood.
B-town has it that Amitabh Bachchan was approached to play the lead opposite his former co-star of ‘Khuda Gawah’ but it seems he refused it citing that the role wasn’t meaty enough for him.

Initially it was Boney Kapoor who wanted to produce this flick but Balki came into the act before Ekta took over it. The Chandni star did hit the gym to prepare for her comeback.
Anyhow with the film shelved now, don’t think it matters most of who was the producer first, right?
