Zara-Pyaar Ki Saugat is about Zara (Sameeksha) a 21 year old beautiful polite and well brought up girl who hails from an upper class muslim family. She loves her childhood friend Samar (Abhay Vakil) who studied in USA with her too. After completing her studies she comes back but Samar stayed back in USA. Zara’s lives ina perfect world. She waits for Samar who would be returning after 3 months to marry her. All their dreams of spending their lives together will come true very soon.
Zara has an elder sister Zeenat (Malini Kapoor) who is married to Aamir. The couple lives with Aamir’s family that includes Aamir’s mother, his aunt – Gul Phupi and her daughter Shirin. Although Zeenat is a good daughter-in-law, Aamir’s Gul Phuphi hates Zeenat as her daughter Shirin was in love with Aamir and she still pines for him.
