Sunny Deol joins Aamir, Salman

Postby aryan on Mon Jan 31, 2011 6:19 am

Actor Sunny Deol is no longer the angry young man. After the success of his comic caper Yamla Pagla Deewana, Sunny is only smiling.

The actor says that he has learnt a few lessons whilst making this movie - the importance of promotions.unny Deol wasn't ever media friendly, but Yamla Pagla... seems to have proved that you need to be seen and heard before the release of your film. And he plans to do just that henceforth.

Sunny has likened movie promotion to a tail of an elephant. He admitted to a tabloid that while the movie is the elephant, the promotions are its tail. They both go hand in hand. So there is going to be no tusking around with the media, we guess!

Earlier, the likes of Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and the Yash Raj banner refused to interact much with the public. They would rather have their movies do all the talking. They were proved wrong, and when their films flopped at the box office, they thought otherwise. Better sense prevailed, and today they go all out and make themselves accessible at a strategic time. Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan are no exceptions to the rule.

Well, let's celebrate this win-win-win situation - it's great for the actor who recovers his money, it's great for the media who gets to interact well with the actors, and it's lovely for the fans out there who would love to see more of their fave heroes. So Sunny Deol, welcome to this bandwagon!
