Tanu Weds Manu scored well in week one especially at multiplexes. Delhi/UP and East Punjab were very good and most other circuits were good to average but West Bengal and Bihar did not perform.
The film grossed around 18.25 crore nett in its first week. The 8th day was decent at multiplexes.

Tanu Weds Manu is very great song collection in which some are very great Punjabi and one Sufi songs is making this movie more popular. In the movie there was a song which sung by the Mika Sings and one is Sungs by the wali bothers both are really good, other songs are also good which comes at the right point of the movie which are attracting people to watch the movie, The movie was very good with the ultimate story and nice acting by the R Madhanvan.
