The master moviemaker Vamsi has always been known for his signature style of movie making and true to his image, he has carved a niche of his own. This time, he is all set to arrive with his new movie ‘Gopi…Gopika..Godavari’ and this one happens to be a tender romantic entertainer with a flavor of his own.
The film has Thottempudi Venu as the hero while the sensuous beauty Kamalini Mukherjee is the leading lady. As the title indicates, the lead pair take their respective roles and it is on the backdrop of the river Godavari.
The film is produced by Valluripalli Ramesh and it is being made under the banner of Maharshi Cinema presented by the Anand Art Creations.
The music for this has been composed by Chakri and the audio album has already got a good response from the music lovers.
The film also has Krishna Bhagawan along with Sana playing key roles and Pradeep Shakti, Jayalalitha, Kondavalasa, Jeeva, Praveen and others.
The editing is done by Basva Paidireddy and cinematography has been done by Loki B Goud. The story revolves around a launch on the river Godavari that has got a mobile clinic. This has Kamalini playing the doctor and she along with her staff visit the villages on the banks of the river and offer them treatment and services.
Kamalini’s life takes a turn when Venu enters into the scene and what happens from there forms the essence. The film is said to have the typical Vamsi type characters and the presentation also would be in a similar manner.
So this would be an offbeat experience for the viewers and given the fact that this is more of a comeback for Venu and Kamalini, it will be interesting to see how their chemistry would work on the screen.
