Terry confident Chelsea can beat United on Sunday

Terry is confident Chelsea can beat Manchester United in Sunday's crucial EPL tie

Taking inspiration from last season's English Premiership title clinching victory, Chelsea's John Terry is confident they can beat Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow. The star defender insists there is nothing he wants more than to bring the EPL trophy back to Stamford Bridge, and for that the Blues must beat United at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Terry celebrated his 500th appearance for the Blues during their controversial victory over Tottenham last weekend and an Arsenal victory over United 24 hours later set up a potentially title-deciding clash for Carlo Ancelotti's men as they bid to retain the EPL title.

The Blues have avoided defeat in the EPL since their February loss to Liverpool and a win tomorrow would be a sixth league victory in a row.

Terry was quoted as saying by The Express: "We showed when we went to Old Trafford and won last year, which was the decisive game, that we could do it. There is no reason why we cannot do it again."

Should the skipper's confidence be backed up with a result, Chelsea would return to the top of the table with only games against Everton and Newcastle standing between them and a second successive title. Terry added: "Each season you know you are going to hit a bad spell and it is about how quickly you can get out of it. We got out of it very quickly last year, and have taken a little longer this time - but once again we are right back in the frame. There is nothing I want more than to bring back that trophy."
