Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. So are gold, platinum and other members from the jewellery family. So it was no surprise that three ladies — each well tuned with the intricacies of jewellery — were called upon to judge a jewellery show on Tuesday afternoon.

Queenie, herself a jewellery designer, Anita Dongre, a fashion designer and Tisca Chopra were seen checking out the counters that displayed the shining stones, and discussing the cuts, designs and quality of the same.

It was interesting to note what the three women wore to the event — outfits that were a mix of white and black, yet each with its own unique twist. Tisca looked radiant (much like the jewellery) in a white cowl necked dress; Queenie looked smart in a white corporate jacket teamed with a black top and short white skirt while Anita donned an open black jacket over her white cowl necked dress. Similar, yet strikingly different, just like the jewellery they were there to see!
