Introduction

The most highly populated state in southern India and the land simultaneously of the Telugu and the Charminar, Andhra Pradesh on the Bay of Bengal offers a plethora of the most diverse tourist experiences. From dilapidated fortresses to untamed wilderness, magnificent monuments to rustic tribal villages, Andhra Pradesh has it all. Home also to a bipolar communal environment, Tourism of Andhra Pradesh has always been a flourishing industry and still has not lost any of the attention due to it. Karimnagar, a district in Andhra Pradesh is bounded by Madhya Pradesh state in the east, Nizamabad district in the West, Warangal and Medak districts in the South and Adilabad district in the North. This place was under the rule of Satavahanas in the begining and the Vishnukumdin, Vemulavada Chalukyas, Kakatiyas, Qutubshahis and Asaf Jahis. This place was earlier called as Elgamdala. Karimnagar Railway station is connected to major stations in Andhra Pradesh.

By Road
Karimnagar is 80 Kms. from Warangal and 172 kms from Hyderabad. It is well connected by road.

By Air
Hyderabad Begumpet Airport is the nearest airport.

Best Time To Visit

Summers are uncomfortably hot and humid. The best time therefore to visit Vishakhapatnam is between October and March.
