Pakistanis actress Veena Malik, who suddenly raised to fame with the Indian television reality show Bigg Boss 4, gives a very neutral view about the cricket teams. Veena who is presently, hosting a cricket show on an Indian channel says to NDTV, "It's very simple, really. My heart says I should support Pakistan at the match. It has given me my identity and all I have. India, on the other hand, has given me so much love and fabulous career opportunities."
She went on to add, "The Indian team is a favourite to win the Cup. But I am Pakistani. So I will paint the Pak flag on one cheek and the Indian flag on the other cheek. And may the best team win on Wednesday."
When Veena was asked about her favourite cricketer, she said without any hesitation, “Yuvraj and Afridi both play from the heart and believe in playing fair cricket. I'm a huge fan of Sachin Tendulkar. But only when he isn't playing against Pakistan."
Hmm!! well that's quiet a diplomatic answer.
Reportedly, the actress will be flying to Mohali, to watch India VS Pakistan match on Wednesday with rumoured beau, Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel. Veena will be sharing seat space with her country's Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and will catch the actions live in the stadium.
