Postby Maddy1 on Sat Sep 03, 2011 8:26 am

I'm am completely torn, i really would like to take both but then my year would be overloaded with courses, but i'm trying to decide ASAP if i should take first year Psychology or first year Sociology.

preferably those who have taken them, what do you suggest??

In introductory classes I would suggest taking Psychology first because there are more areas to explore whereas Sociology tends to deal more intensely with fewer areas.

Be warned, even if you are well adjusted you won't go 2 months into your Psych course without becoming convinced that you are schizphrenic, Bi polar etc. It is a given .

Psycho-pharmacology major. In essence making drugs with fewer side effects.Eventually.
