Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, is an Australian citizen, currently on bail in England for criminal charges in Sweden. He is wanted by the US for acquiring confidential diplomatic cables and leaking them out through newspapers in five countries. It's a legal mess. So, what are the chances that the US will get to him? The US has to first figure out what to charge Assange with. It's so complex that a Congressional Committee held a meeting recently to hear top lawyers' opinions on what law can be applied.
