Wisin, Yandel vault to No. 1 on Billboard Latin Songs

Postby wagestaylor0 on Fri Sep 30, 2011 6:24 am

Reggaeton duo Wisin and Yandel climbed from seventh to first place this week on Billboard's Latin Songs chart with 'Tu olor'.
Pitbull's 'Give Me Everything', with Ne-Yo, Afrojack y Nayer, remained in the second spot, followed by Don Omar, whose 'Taboo' was bumped from the No. 1 position.
'Olvidame', by Julion Alvarez y su Norteno Banda, dropped from third to fourth.
Taking the fifth spot on the Latin Songs chart, where the rankings are based on radio airplay, was 'Rain Over Me', a Pitbull effort featuring Marc Anthony.
Billboard's list of best-selling Latin Albums saw no changes in the top three positions this week.
Gerardo Ortiz, nominated in 10 categories for the first Billboard Mexican Music Awards, remained in first place with his latest effort, 'Entre Dios y el diablo'.
'A Puros Trankazos', a compilation of Mexican regional hits performed by various artists, kept its grip on the No. 2 spot, while Prince Royce's self-titled album hung on to the third position.
Climbing from fifth to fourth was 'MTV Unplugged' by Los Tigres del Norte.
